Fast food is food that can be prepared and served very quickly. While any meal with low preparation time can be considered to be fast food, such as TV dinners, typically the term refers to food which is cooked in bulk in advance, kept warm or reheated to order, and sold ready-to-eat from an outlet.
Outlets may be stands or kiosks, which may provide no shelter or seating,[1] or fast food restaurants (also known as quick service restaurants). Franchise operations which are part of restaurant chains have standardized foodstuffs shipped to each restaurant from central ****************s.[2]
The capital requirements to start a fast-food restaurant are relatively small, particularly in areas with non-existent or poorly enforced health codes. Small, individually-owned fast-food restaurants have become common throughout the world. Fast food restaurants with higher sit-in ratios, where customers can sit and have their orders brought to them, are known as fast casual restaurants.

History

Typical interior of an Automat. This one was built in New York in 1930,
at the height of their popularity.

Although fast-food restaurants are often viewed as a representation of a day by day family outing, the concept of "ready-cooked food to go" is as old as cities themselves; unique variations are historical in various cultures. Ancient Roman cities had bread-and-olive stands, East Asian cultures feature noodle shops. Flat bread and falafel are ubiquitous in the Middle East. Popular Indian "fast" food delicacies include Vada pav, Papri Chaat, Bhelpuri, Panipuri and Dahi Vada. In the French-speaking nations of West Africa, meanwhile, roadside stands in and around the larger cities continue to sell- as they have done for generations- a range of ready-to-eat, chargrilled meat sticks known locally as "brochettes" (not to be confused with the bread snack of the same name found in Europe).
The modern history of fast-food in the United States of America began on 7 July 1912 with the opening of a fast food restaurant called the Automat, a cafeteria with its prepared foods behind small glass windows and coin-operated slots, in New York City, created a sensation. Numerous Automat restaurants were quickly built around the country to deal with the demand. Automats remained extremely popular throughout the 1920s and 1930s. The company also popularized the notion of “take-out” food, with their slogan “Less work for Mother”. The American company White Castle is generally credited with opening the second fast-food outlet in Wichita, Kansas in 1921, selling hamburgers for five cents apiece.[3] Among its innovations, the company allowed customers to see the food being prepared. White Castle later added five holes to each beef patty to increase its surface area and speed cooking times. White Castle was successful from its inception and spawned numerous competitors.
McDonald’s, the largest fast-food chain in the world and the brand most associated with the term "fast food," was founded as a barbecue drive-in in 1940 by Dick and Mac McDonald. After discovering that most of their profits came from hamburgers, the brothers closed their restaurant for three months and reopened it in 1948 as a walk-up stand offering a simple menu of hamburgers, french fries, shakes, coffee, and Coca-Cola, served in disposable paper wrapping. As a result, they were able to produce hamburgers and fries constantly, without waiting for customer orders, and could serve them immediately; hamburgers cost 15 cents, about half the price at a typical diner. Their streamlined production method, which they named the "Speedee Service System" was influenced by the production line innovations of Henry Ford. The McDonalds’ stand was the milkshake machine company’s biggest customer and a milkshake salesman named Ray Kroc travelled to California to discover the secret to their high-volume burger-and-shake operation. Kroc thought he could expand their concept, eventually buying the McDonalds’ operation outright in 1961 with the goal of making cheap, ready-to-go hamburgers, french fries and milkshakes a nationwide business.
Kroc was the mastermind behind the rise of McDonald’s as a national chain. The first part of his plan was to promote cleanliness in his restaurants. Kroc often took part at his own Des Plaines, Illinois, outlet by hosing down the garbage cans and scraping gum off the cement. Kroc also added great swaths of glass which enabled the customer to view the food preparation. This was very important to the American public which became quite germ conscious. A clean atmosphere was only part of Kroc’s grander plan which separated McDonald’s from the rest of the competition and attributes to their great success. Kroc envisioned making his restaurants appeal to families of suburbs.
Service

Fast-food outlets are take-away or take-out providers, often with a "drive-thru" service which allows customers to order and pick up food from their cars; but most also have a seating area in which customers can eat the food on the premises.
Nearly from its inception, fast food has been designed to be eaten "on the go" and often does not require traditional cutlery and is eaten as a finger food. Common menu items at fast food outlets include fish and chips, sandwiches, pitas, hamburgers, fried chicken, french fries, chicken nuggets, tacos, pizza, and ice cream, although many fast-food restaurants offer "slower" foods like chili, mashed potatoes, and salads.
Traditional retail outlets
Many petrol/gas stations have convenience stores which sell pre-packed sandwiches, donuts, and hot food. Many gas stations in the United States also sell frozen foods and have microwaves on the premises in which to prepare them.
Supermarkets often include their own cafes with prepared food service counters. Many markets prepare baked or rotisserie chickens due to the low cost of fowl and ease of preparation. Some, like ASDA and Wal-Mart may even include a well-known fast food chain within their own store, such as McDonald’s or Subway.
Street vendors and concessions
Traditional street food is available around the world, usually from small operators and independent vendors operating from a cart, table, or portable grill. Common examples include Vietnamese noodle vendors, Middle Eastern falafel stands and New York City hot dog carts. Commonly, street vendors provide a colorful and varying range of options designed to quickly captivate passers-by and attract as much attention as possible.
Depending on the locale, multiple street vendors may specialize in specific types of food characteristic of a given cultural or ethnic tradition. In some cultures, it is typical for street vendors to call out prices, sing or chant sales-pitches, play music, or engage in other forms of "street theatrics" in order to engage prospective customers. In some cases, this can garner more attention than the food itself; some vendors represent another form of tourist attraction.
Cuisine
The common preparation practice for small vendors consists of serving a few basic ingredients and toppings that can be cooked in batches and served quickly on the spot.
Modern commercial fast food is often highly processed and prepared in an industrial fashion, i.e., on a large scale with standard ingredients and standardised cooking and production methods. It is usually rapidly served in cartons or bags or in a plastic wrapping, in a fashion which minimizes cost. In most fast food operations, menu items are generally made from processed ingredients prepared at a central supply facility and then shipped to individual outlets where they are reheated, cooked (usually by microwave or deep-frying) or assembled in a short amount of time. This process ensures a consistent level of product quality, and is key to being able to deliver the order quickly to the customer and eliminate labor and equipment costs in the individual stores.
Because of commercial emphasis on speed, uniformity and low cost, fast food products are often made with ingredients formulated to achieve a certain flavor or consistency and to preserve freshness. Hydrogenated vegetable oils are pumped into fast foods which contain high amounts of trans fat. This requires a high degree of food engineering, the use of additives and processing techniques substantially alter the food from its original form and reduce its nutritional value.
Variants

Although fast food often brings to mind traditional American fast food such as hamburgers and fries, and this is indeed the most popular form in most Western countries, there are many other forms of fast food that enjoy widespread popularity in the West.
Chinese takeaways are particularly popular. They normally offer a wide variety of Asian food (not always Chinese), which has normally been fried. Food is often available as a smorgasbord, sometimes self-service. The customer chooses the size of the container they wish to buy, and then is free to fill it with their choice of food. It is common to combine several options in one container. Most options are some form of noodles, rice, or meat.
Sushi has seen rapidly rising popularity in recent times. A form of fast food created in Japan (where obento is the Japanese *****alent of fast food), sushi is normally cold sticky rice served with raw fish. The most popular kind in the West is rolls of rice in nori (dried seaweed), with filling. The filling often includes fish, chicken or cucumber.
The Subway chain has had a major impact on the fast food industry, by showing that food can be mass produced in the American manner without compromising taste or nutritional value. Consequently Subway has marketed itself as a healthy alternative to other fast food chains, and has been largely successful in this. Many other chains (especially McDonalds) have altered their menus to include healthier options in order to prevent loss of customers.
Kebab houses are a form of fast food restaurant from the Middle East, especially Turkey and Lebanon. Meat (or falafel) is shaven from a rotisserie, and is served on a warmed tortilla with salad and a choice of sauce and dressing. These doner kebabs are distinct from shishkebabs served on sticks.
Fish and chip shops are a form of fast food popular in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Fish is battered and then deep fried.
Business

Neighboring fast food restaurant advertisement signs in Bowling Green, Kentucky
In the United States alone, consumers spent about US$110 billion on fast food in 2000 (which increased from US$6 billion in 1970).[5] The National Restaurant Association forecasts that fast-food restaurants in the U.S. will reach US$142 billion in sales in 2022, a 5% increase over 2022. In comparison, the full-service restaurant segment of the food industry is expected to generate $173 billion in sales. Fast food has been losing market share to so-called fast casual restaurants, which offer more robust and expensive cuisines.
Criticism and alternatives
Fast-food chains have come under fire from consumer groups (such as the Center for Science in the Public Interest, a longtime fast-food critic) over the past decade. Some of the concerns have led to the rise of the Slow Food movement. This movement seeks to preserve local cuisines and ingredients, and directly opposes laws and habits that favor fast-food choices. Among other things, it strives to educate consumers’ palates to prefer what it considers richer, more varied, and more nourishing tastes of fresh local ingredients harvested in season.

CONCLUSION

"(Fast-food restaurants) make good-tasting, affordable food, but unfortunately, it lacks nutrition," said the slim and fit Rivera

Junk food is the food that is unhealthy or having poor nutritional value .Junk food contains high levels of fats, salt, many additives such as monosodium glutamate, and tartarzine. It lacks proteins, vitamins, and fiber among others. It is popular with suppliers so it is easy and cheap to manufacture and to buy. lt is popular with its consumers because it requires little or no preparation.Eating junk food causes obesity, diabetes, blood pressure, heart diseases and dental cavities.Examples of junk food are hambergers, chips. Junk food does not contain the good things that the healthy body needs.
Achieving a healthy diet is popularly misperceived as being attainable by eating ‘healthy foods’. Many people[attribution needed] falsely believe that there are ‘good’ and ‘bad’ foods; they develop bad diets because they think that abundant eating of foods they consider ‘healthy’ will create a healthy diet. However, this is far from the truth.
Although a healthy diet is based upon nutrition, people eat foods and not nutrients; as few people know which foods supply which nutrients, allowing people to self-regulate their diets means that they run the obvious risk of deficiency. Due to past difficulties of educating people about nutrient intake, governments have opted to counsel on what foods to eat rather than on what nutrients to ingest.

Unhealthy food products and harmful food marketing practices are wreaking havoc on the public health sector.
That’s according to a new report by the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to food, Olivier De Schutter.
Increased consumption of highly processed foods or "junk food" has been linked to the rise in diabetes, cancer and heart diseases, the report says.
These foods attract people with the lowest incomes because they are cheap, warns De Shutter.
"One major source of obesity in the US for example which spends today around $180 billion just to combat type II diabetes that are the result of overweight and obesity. So we have to get the prices system right. It is simply not acceptable that poor people are unable to afford quality diets. That they develop illnesses as a result of not being able to afford healthy types of food."
Duration: 29”
The right to food expert is calling on world leaders to counter food industry efforts to sell unbalanced processed products and ready-to-serve meals that are rich in fats, sugar and salt.

I have played before. As I know a lot about these sports I WOULd like to share the information I know WITH YOU because it may help you in the future.
I’m going to talk about:
Basketball…
American football…
Golf…
Ice hokey…
Soccer…

I. Basketball
Basketball is one of the most popular and widely viewed sport in the world.
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams of five active players try to score points by throwing or dunking a basketball through a hoop mounted ten feet above the surface of the basketball court.
Featured player: Allan Houston, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Michael Jordan.

II. baseball
Baseball is a team sport played with two teams of nine players each. It is a bat-and-ball game in which a pitcher throws (pitches) a hard, fist-sized, leather-covered ball toward a batter on the opposite team. The batter attempts to hit the baseball with a tapered cylindrical bat. Baseball is played without time restrictions and is structured around nine segments called "innings". Featured players: Brian Jordan, David justice and Albert Belle.

III. American football
American football is known in the United States simply as football, is a competitive team sport known for its physical roughness despite being a highly strategic game. The object of the game is to score points by advancing the pointed-oval shaped ball into the opposing team’s end zone. The ball can be advanced by carrying it (a running play) or by throwing it to a teammate (a passing play). The winner is the team with the most points when the time expires and the last play ends. Featured players: William Floyd, Jerry Rice and Randy Moss.

iv. golf
Golf is a sport which is originated in Scotland around the middle of the 15th century and has exploded in popularity during the 20th century. Golf play involves using clubs to hit a small ball into a series of holes arranged around a specially landscaped course. The two basic forms of golf are match play and stroke play. In match play, each hole is considered as a unique contest between players, and the player who wins the most holes is the overall winnter for the round. In stroke play, each stroke is counted towards the ultimate score and the player who completed the round with the lowest number of shots wins the round.

Healthy food is almost as important to healing as competent medical care, and healthy eating habits play a critical role in preventing chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers.
Life today is not like how it was before. Along time ago, people ate foods that are very good for their health.
They ate foods that do not contain chemicals, preservatives, artificial colors, and artificial flavors. People also had a lot of time to cook their own foods. Therefore those people were not been affected by the food that they ate, because all of the foods that they had were natural foods and healthy.
That’s way they did not have any problem on their health and they lived longer than now. But these days, every one is busy and don’t have time to cook their own food.
People eat foods that are easily cooked or ready cooked. They do not even think of what they eat, and if it can effect their health or not. That is a bad way that most people do because our health depends on what we eat daily.
Foods are the building blocks of every cell in the body, are responsible for the proper functioning of the whole body. It is important, for that reason, to know what is good for our body and what is not. Foods can be classified into two types, unhealthy (junk) and healthy food.
Healthy food can be found in fruits, vegetables, meat, nuts, seafood and dairy foods. They are also not of the frozen foods and with out chemical fertilizers.

The other advantage is that healthy foods have no preservatives with natural color, and flavors and even it gives you strong body .
Therefore we should be careful to every food that we eat. Because if we eat un healthy food they may cause some disadvantages to our health. Most of the vitamins that which we need are found in fruit, vegetable, meat, nut, seafood, and dairy foods. we should balance our food that we eat.
Unhealthy food can be found in fast foods, frozen foods and other foods which having chemical contents. Main causes of unhealthy foods are heart diseases, some type of cancers, high cholesterol and other recent diseases which discovered due to un managed foods.

Conclusion:
Finally I advice all my friends to care about there health and choose there foods carefully to have a healthy and long liver really is quite an amazing organ. Did you know, for example, that your liver has more than 500 known functions? Though we know it’s an important organ, most of us really don’t know that much about it.
The More the Better

For example, your liver is the largest organ in your body. In fact, it’s actually about six times larger than it normally needs to be to maintain life. That’s fortunate because living this modern pollution-filled, fast-food dieted, breakneck-paced, prescription-medicated world, our livers are really overworked. These days you need all the liver you can get because without it, you wouldn’t last very long. When your liver is overloaded it becomes incapable of efficiently taking care of those 500 or more functions. Obviously that’s not good. The result can be a wide variety of unpleasant symptoms.
Waste Disposal

Your liver is very involved in proper digestion and in the ****bolism of fat. It eliminates poisons in the body by dumping them into the bowel via the bile. If not removed, toxins are reabsorbed into the blood stream. These substances interfere with normal bowel and kidney function.
“Excess” Stress

Many excess hormones also are removed from the body by the liver. For example, the anti-diuretic (water retention) hormone is eliminated by the liver when it becomes excessive. If the liver is not functioning well, swelling will often occur in the legs or abdomen. Some *** hormones are deactivated by a poorly functioning liver. When this happens, menstrual problems or other disturbing conditions may follow.
Storage Bin

The liver is also a major sugar storehouse. Sugar handling disturbances may result from liver dysfunction. Improper utilization of vitamins, particularly the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, can also result from dysfunction. Adequate absorption of these vitamins, as well as their storage, depends on the liver.
Double Trouble

Blood coagulation factors are also developed in the liver. You can see it in a person with a tendency to bleed or bruise. It’s a case of the blood’s poor clotting ability. These are just a few of the liver’s numerous functions.
Special Effects

How can you know for sure if it’s your liver that’s ailing you? Severe fatigue, digestive disturbances, swelling, a constant chilled feeling and poor appetite—all these can be symptoms of liver dysfunction. Another sign is the inability to tolerate medications. Your liver plays an important role in ****bolizing the chemical compounds in many prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Notice how many of the printed inserts and advertising for common medications include the warning about the potential effect on the liver.
Body Detox

You liver’s role as a detoxifier—removing harmful substances from the body, is a very important function. In fact, this is one of the main reasons it becomes overwhelmed. Poisons can enter your body in many ways. You may inhale poisons you spray on your lawn, or use in your home, or chemicals you contact at work. You would be wise to avoid all poisons to the extent possible.
Over the Top/Over-the-Counter

In addition, there are many chemicals you may not realize might be a problem to your body. Medications, even common non-prescription types we use freely, put significant extra load on the liver. This can eventually become harmful to you.
Artificial Additives

Chemicals used as preservatives, stabilizers, artificial flavorings and colorings, etc. are all problems regarding liver function. A few of these chemicals would not be a problem because of the liver’s tremendous ability to maintain normal function. However, there is a negative cumulative effect from the numerous chemicals you take into our bodies through our food.
Environmental Degradation

As if that wasn’t enough…add all the smog, aerosol sprays of all sorts, alcohol and many other poisons in today’s polluted world. Help! Our bodies do need all the help we can give them. You probably know the most significant environmental poisons today are the heavy-****l poisons, such as lead, cadmium and arsenic.

What you may not realize is that these are deposited and stored in the body because they are very difficult to remove. Now you can see how the liver can become overworked. And ultimately it can become damaged.
Fat Liver

The liver is a major storage area for carbohydrates and proteins. Ordinarily the liver stores very little fat. If it does accumulate in the liver, it happens for several reasons. For example, people with poor protein intake have more fat in the liver. This is because protein is essential in breaking down fat. Conversely, too much protein in the diet causes a liver overload. The reason is the liver must eliminate the waste products from protein breakdown.
Carb Overload

Consumption of too many refined carbohydrates and/or too much alcohol can cause accumulation of triglycerides. This is bad since they are fat in nature. These cause congestion and interfere with normal liver function.
System Failure

So, how do you know if you have liver overload? Most laboratory tests for liver function focus on liver disease. However, it would be much better to be able to discover dysfunction before irreversible disease processes develop. Don’t you think?
Auto Congestion

When the liver is overloaded and congested, the venous blood—that which has circulated through the body and needs to be cleansed—cannot pass through the liver easily. With liver congestion, a back pressure develops at various locations of the venous system. You may feel mild to severe discomfort.
Here’s Lookin’ at You Kid

If this is the case, we can easily observe it by pressing solidly with the fingers between your shoulder blades. When we remove our fingers from your skin, normal color should return rapidly. If a white area remains after the pressure is removed, it means poor circulatory flow. Visible or distended veins on the chest and abdomen are even more obvious signs of possible liver congestion.
Final Analysis

Besides observation, we use applied kinesiology (muscle testing) to test for adequate energy patterns to the liver. This examination includes checking you for normal lymphatic drainage, blood circulation and nerve supply. Your diet and contact with harmful chemicals will also be evaluated by testing the muscles. Electromagnetic Cleansing Therapy complemented with the right nutritional supplements are a powerful combination to keep your liver in top performance.
Picture of Health

Because your liver is so important for many different functions in your total health picture, it should be evaluated periodically to eliminate problems before they begin. Remember, the liver is much larger than necessary for actual body needs. That means by the time a problem shows up—even minimally—the liver is already significantly overloaded.
Lifetime Warranty

That’s why it is especially important to follow any dietary or other treatment programs we recommend for you. This way you will keep your liver functioning normally for a healthier, longer, and happier life.

Why increase the weight?!
Surprised many of us to increase the weight even though it does not deal with large amounts of food ..
But it may miss us, that eating high-calorie foods between meals helps to increase the weight!
To avoid weight gain, must deal with low-calorie foods rich in fiber and even between meals .. It helps reduce your appetite for the meal following.

And organization of food between meals is necessary to avoid weight gain … You can choose certain foods, and distributed to the two meals:

The first: between breakfast and lunch, and the second: between lunch and dinner …
A good example of snacks:

The importance of having more than one choice in the food…
Having more than one choice offers a balance of food for the health. There is no full food but food completes to one another to make a full food. If you neglect one type of your daily food it won’t be a balanced diet but if you took a bit from each type you will be sure to have all the material that you need.

How to choose your perfect diet for your lifestyle:
For the people who works in critical thinking jobs like (students, business men) they need milk, cheese, eggs, and fish.
And they should stay away from the coffee and tea because it affects in the body from inside.
..The person who faces lots of trouble in their work needs a lot of vegetables and fruits and a piece of cheese but they have to stop the meat no problem if they had some lettuce or carrots or potatoes.
..The people who works with the strength of their body they need references rich with energy like the sugary and fatty substances
..The people who sits behind their desks under the air conditioner without moving they need some fresh vegetables and fruits.

How to avoid the gas in your stomach..
..Save the enough time to eat food so never eat fast and never speak while drinking soils especially if it was hot.
..Balance between the food times so doesn’t get food into food.
..To eat food slowly and chew it perfectly and don’t eat while chewing.
..Avoid holding and avoid the food that make Gas like cabbage.

Healthy ways to keep food safe…
..The milk is always kept in the refrigerator away from the light…
..Heating bread in the lowest degree possible so that it won’t lose the vitamins.
..Don’t wash the rice very much and don’t use a lot of water during heating it.
Eat the vegetables and the fruits fresh always after washing it…
..Keep the vegetables with leaves like lettuce in the coldest place in the refrigerator after covering it with wet cloth – but the beans and tomatoes are kept in a lower degree.
..Oranges and fruits are kept in a normal temperature and its juice is saved covered in the refrige time to do things you want to do, like talk to yourself, play solitaire, write poetry, or try to carry that couch into your new apartment all by yourself. If that’s not your bag, though, there are literally billions of potential friends in the world. What’s more, many of these people want to make friends just as much as you do. So just follow these steps to meet new people and form strong, lasting friendships with at least some of them

Steps…
1. Talk to people. You can join a club, go to school, or go to church, and you still won’t make friends if you don’t actually talk to people. By the same token, you don’t have to be involved with an organization to talk to people, and any time you talk to someone, you have a chance at making a lasting friend. You can talk to anybody: the clerk at the video store, the person sitting next to you on the bus, or the person in front of you in the unemployment line. Don’t be picky. Most conversations will be a dead-end of sorts, in that you may never talk to that person again or you’ll just remain acquaintances, but once in a while you’ll actually make a friend.

Introduce yourself early in the conversation. Your name doesn’t necessarily need to be the first thing out of your mouth, but if you’re looking to make friends, knowing each other’s names is a good start. Once you introduce yourself, the other person will typically do the same. Remember his or her name, and use it later in the conversation.
Make small talk. Friends can talk about just about anything, but you don’t want to get too personal when you first meet someone. Just make good, inoffensive small talk at first.
Open up the opportunity for another meeting. When you meet someone whom you think might make a good friend, try to exchange contact information. This is especially important if you meet someone who you aren’t otherwise likely to meet again. Seize the day!
If you’ve discovered that the person you’re talking to have a common interest, ask him or her more about it and, if appropriate, whether they get together with others, in a club, for example, to pursue this interest. If so, this is a perfect opportunity to ask about joining them. If you have a club, band, church, etc. that you think they might enjoy take the opportunity to give them your number or email address and invite them to join you.
If you’re new in town and just looking to meet people, don’t be afraid to mention this. People are often excited about meeting new people, showing them around, and introducing them to their friends.
2- Be fun to be around. You don’t have to be a superstar to be fun. You don’t even have to do cartwheels. You do need to and friendly, however, so that people feel good when they’re around you. From the very first conversation you have with someone, you should use body Lang to convey that you are affable, non-threatening, and frequently, often, and make eye contact. In your words, but don’t be cocky, condescending, or mean-spirited.
Many people think that in order to be seen as "friend material" they have to appear very interesting. Far more important than this, however, is the ability to show that you’re interested in others. Listen carefully to what people say, remember important details about them (their names, their likes and dislikes), ask questions about their interests, and just take the time to learn more about them. People love to talk about themselves, and the easiest way to be likable is to listen. You don’t want to be the guy or girl that always has a better story than anyone else or that changes the subject abruptly instead of continuing the flow of conversation. These people appear too wrapped up in themselves to be good friends.
2. Be reliable. The steps above are great for making acquaintances, but how do acquaintances become lifelong friends? One important trait of a good friend is reliability. When you say you’ll do something, do it. Be someone that people know that they can count on.
3. Be trustworthy. One of the best things about having a friend is that you have someone to whom you can talk about anything, even secrets that you hide from the rest of the world. The key to being a good confidante is the ability to keep secrets, so it’s no secret that you shouldn’t tell other people things that were told to you in confidence. Before people even feel comfortable opening up to you, however, you need to build trust. Be honest about yourself and your beliefs, and don’t gossip about others or spread rumors.
4. Be there. You’ve probably heard of fair-weather friends. They’re the ones who are happy to be around you when things are going well, but are nowhere to be found when you really need them. Part of being a friend is being prepared to make sacrifices of your time and energy in order to help out your friends. If a friend needs help with an unpleasant chore, or if he or she just needs a shoulder to cry on, be there.
5. Be true to yourself. A good friend sometimes does things he or she doesn’t want to do, such as helping a friend move or going to see a band that you don’t really like, but you should never feel pressured to do something you think is wrong. Stay true to your convictions and beliefs, and if this causes you to lose some friends, you’re better off without them. You’ll also find that your integrity may help you win a lot of other friends, and if you just be yourself you’ll make friends who like you for who you are.
Tips:
• If you’re around a new place, try to find people who are not attached to a group and strike up a conversation about anything—the weather, the environment that you’re in, clothes, whatever. In school, for example, befriending new students can help you make new friends.
• Accept everyone for whom they are and never bring anyone down or try to change someone (especially if they’ve done nothing to hurt or offend you). This communicates insecurity. If you don’t get along with someone, try avoidance instead of creating a rivalry.
• Always trust your gut feelings about people. If you feel someone (as nice as they may seem) is not the right person to make friends with, then move along.
• Keep the lines of communication open. Lasting friendships don’t just happen. They require work, especially if one friend moves away for an extended period or for good. Even if you don’t get to see a friend, you should try to call or email him or her regularly just to check in and say "hi." With any luck, they’ll do the same. It’s easy to lose friends to distance, but it isn’t necessary. .
• Always be nice to everybody
• Remember when making new friends always be yourself. We hear so much words (healthy food), it is said, for example: ((to live without knowing healthy eating disease)) .. !

Healthy food is almost as important to healing as competent

medical care, and healthy eating habits play a critical role in

preventing chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers.

Life today is not like how it was before. Along time ago, people

ate foods that are very good for their health.

They ate foods that do not contain chemicals, preservatives, artificial colors,

and artificial flavors. People also had a lot of time to cook their own foods.

Therefore those people were not been affected by the food that they ate,

because all of the foods that they had were natural foods and healthy.

That’s way they did not have any problem on their health and they lived

longer than now. But these days, every one is busy and don’t have time to cook their own food.

People eat foods that are easily cooked or ready cooked.

They do not even think of what they eat, and if it can effect their health or not.

That is a bad way that most people do because our health depends on what we eat daily.

Foods are the building blocks of every cell in the body, are responsible

for the proper functioning of the whole body. It is important, for that reason,

to know what is good for our body and what is not. Foods can be classified into

two types, unhealthy (junk) and healthy food.

Healthy food can be found in fruits, vegetables, meat, nuts, seafood and dairy foods.

They are also not of the frozen foods and with out chemical fertilizers.

The other advantage is that healthy foods have no preservatives with natural color,

and flavors and even it gives you strong body .

Therefore we should be careful to every food that we eat. Because if we eat un

healthy food they may cause some disadvantages to our health. Most of the vitamins

that which we need are found in fruit, vegetable, meat, nut, seafood,

and dairy foods. we should balance our food that we eat.

Unhealthy food can be found in fast foods, frozen foods and other foods

which having chemical contents. Main causes of unhealthy foods are heart diseases,

some type of cancers, high cholesterol and other recent diseases which discovered due to un managed foods.

تعبير عن Junk Food

Junk food is an argumentative/ a controversial issue/case/topic/matter.A great number of people argue about banning/ allowing junk food. Some people are with allowing/ banning JF. Others are against banning/ allowing JF. To my mind,………………………

This is due to health problems, distracting attention and money wasting.

For health problems, Too much JF can lead to obesity. JF is full of sugars, fats and calories which are harmful to our bodies , For example , thy can cause liver, kidny and heart diseases.

For the distraction of attention, JF can take our attention away from the teacher and from our classes because it has a lot of sugary substances .

For money wasting,

In conclusion, JF is harmful to our bodies and our to our minds as well, so it should be banned

All living things depend on each other to live. The food chain shows how some animals eat other animals to survive. While being food for animals higher in the food chain, these animals may eat other animals or plants to survive. The food chain is a complex balance of life. If one animals source of food disappears, such as from over fishing or hunting, many other animals in the food chain are impacted and may die.

Did you know what’s a food chain ???
Lets talk about it and try to understand what that ??

Every living thing needs energy in order to live. Every time animals do something (run, jump) they use energy to do so.

Animals get energy from the food they eat, and all living things get energy from food. Plants use sunlight, water and nutrients to get energy (in a process called photosynthesis). Energy is necessary for living beings to grow.
A food chain shows how each living thing gets food, and how nutrients and energy are passed from creature to creature. Food chains begin with plant-life, and end with animal-life. Some animals eat plants, some animals eat other animals.

تقرير عن الوجبات السريعه .. fast food -تعليم الامارات

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته ..

تقرير من إعدادي ..

Fast food (also known as Quick Service Restaurant or QSR within the industry itself) is the term given to food that can be prepared and served very quickly. While any meal with low preparation time can be considered to be fast food, typically the term refers to food sold in a restaurant or store with preheated or precooked ingredients, and served to the customer in a packaged form for take-out/take-away. The term "fast food" was recognized in a dictionary by Merriam–Webster in 1951.[1]

Precooked foods such as french fries or pizza typically must be used within a few hours, or they become dried out and unpalatable. The restaurant must balance availability with the expected numbers of customers, to avoid discarding unused expired product. Similarly, the food itself is often intended to be consumed quickly, using strong contrasts such as dry corn chips with greasy or wet toppings that will combine into a gooey mess if stored for later consumption.[citation needed]

Outlets may be stands or kiosks, which may provide no shelter or seating,[2] or fast food restaurants (also known as quick service restaurants). Franchise operations which are part of restaurant chains have standardized foodstuffs shipped to each restaurant from central ********s.[3]

The capital requirements involved in opening up a fast food restaurant are relatively low. Restaurants with much higher sit-in ratios, where customers tend to sit and have their orders brought to them in a seemingly more upscale atmosphere, may be known in some areas as fast casual restaurants.

History

The concept of ready-cooked food for sale is closely connected with urban development. In Ancient Rome cities had street stands that sold bread and wine. A fixture of East Asian cities is the noodle shop. Flatbread and falafel are today ubiquitous in the Middle East. Popular Indian fast food dishes include vada pav, panipuri and dahi vada. In the French-speaking nations of West Africa, roadside stands in and around the larger cities continue to sell—as they have done for generations—a range of ready-to-eat, char-grilled meat sticks known locally as brochettes (not to be confused with the bread snack of the same name found in Europe

Pre-modern Europe
In the cities of Roman antiquity, much of the urban population living in insulae, multi-storey apartment blocks, depended on food vendors for much of their meals. In the mornings, bread soaked in wine was eaten as a quick snack and cooked vegetables and stews later in the day at a popina, a simple type of eating establishment.[4] In the Middle Ages, large towns and major urban areas such as London and Paris supported numerous vendors that sold dishes such as pies, pasties, flans, waffles, wafers, pancakes and cooked meats. As in Roman cities during antiquity, many of these establishments catered to those who did not have means to cook their own food, particularly single households. Unlike richer town dwellers, many could often not afford housing with kitchen facilities and thus relied on fast food. Travelers, as well, such as pilgrims en route to a holy site, were among the customers
