Weather is the state of the atmosphere, to the degree that it is hot or cold, wet or dry, calm or stormy, clear or cloudy. Most weather phenomena occur in the troposphere, just below the stratosphere. Weather refers, generally, to day-to-day temperature and precipitation activity, whereas climate is the term for the average atmospheric conditions over longer periods of time. When used without qualification, "weather" is understood to be the weather of Earth.
Weather is driven by density (temperature and moisture) differences between one place and another. These differences can occur due to the sun angle at any particular spot, which varies by latitude from the tropics. The strong temperature contrast between polar and tropical air gives rise to the jet stream. Weather systems in the mid-latitudes, such as extratropical cyclones, are caused by instabilities of the jet stream flow. Because the Earth’s axis is tilted relative to its orbital plane, sunlight is incident at different angles at different times of the year. On Earth’s surface, temperatures usually range ±40 °C (100 °F to −40 °F) annually. Over thousands of years, changes in Earth’s orbit affect the amount and distribution of solar energy received by the Earth and influence long-term climate and global climate change.
Surface temperature differences in turn cause pressure differences. Higher altitudes are cooler than lower altitudes due to differences in compressional heating. Weather forecasting is the application of science and technology to predict the state of the atmosphere for a future time and a given location. The atmosphere is a chaotic system, so small changes to one part of the system can grow to have large effects on the system as a whole. Human attempts to control the weather have occurred throughout human history, and there is evidence that human activity such as agriculture and industry has inadvertently modified weather patterns.
Studying how the weather works on other planets has been helpful in understanding how weather works on Earth. A famous landmark in the Solar System, Jupiter’s Great Red Spot, is an anticyclonic storm known to have existed for at least 300 years. However, weather is not limited to planetary bodies. A star’s corona is constantly being lost to space, creating what is essentially a very thin atmosphere throughout the Solar System. The movement of mass ejected from the Sun is known as the solar wind.

There is a big difference in the education in the UAE between the past and present in many aspects. The education in the past and present is different in subjects, teachers, classroom, students, schools, transportation, and financial support.
The education in the past differs from the education in the present in many aspects. In the past, the education was very simple. There were no universities, schools, and teachers. The teacher was a person who was called Al-Mutawa. Al-Mutawa was teaching the boys and girls only three subjects which are: reading, reciting the Holy Quran, and math. Al-Mutawa was paid by boys’ and girls’ parents. Actually, they paid to Al-Mutawa by giving him food, clothes…etc. The Al-Mutawa’s house was the class where the boys and girls were learnt. Also, the boys and girls did not have to attend everyday in order to learn in the past.
The education in the present differs from the past in many things. There are two reasons that lead to the developments in education in the UAE which are: discovery of oil in the UAE and unity of the seven emirates in 1971. Nowadays, there are universities, schools, teachers, institutes, and colleges. There are many universities in the UAE covering most of the disciplines and majors such as engineering, arts, sciences, law, business, architecture…etc. Also, these universities provide opportunity for the students who want to pursue the postgraduate studies such as master and PhD. In the present, the government attracts the qualified teachers and professors to teach different subjects such as English language, Arabic language, history, geography, chemistry, biology, psychology …etc in the schools and universities. The government is supporting the education nowadays. It builds the modern schools, labs, universities, and institutes to provide an appropriate environment for studying. Also, it provides the adequate transportation for students to facilitate their movements and safety.

At the end, the education in the past and present is different in many phases such as subjects, teachers, classroom, students, schools, transportation, and financial support. And there are two reasons that lead the development in education in the United Arab Emirates . And we know that country doing many things such as schools, university , and college .

There are five stages in the UAE education system. The first
stage is Pre-school. Most children start Pre-school at four and ends
at six. Primary school begins at six and ends at ten or eleven.
Preparatory school start at ten or eleven and ends at 14 or 15.
Secondary school starts at 14 or 15 and finishes at 17. Most
students then go to university or college.

There are six compulsory subjects in the UAE education
system. All children study Geography, History, Mathematics,
Science, Islamic studies and a foreign language. All UAE
children study English, but some children study French as a
second foreign language

BEGINNINGS OF SMOKING

History of smoking extends a lot farther as would many people tought. First people that most probably smoked, were American Indians. They found inhaling smoke of dried tobacco leaves very relaxing and calming. First Europeans who smoked were members of Kolumb′s expedition to America. When they returned to Europe, they brought tobacco and so the mass smoking began.

FIRST RESEARCHES ABOUT SMOKING AFFECTS

First scientific research about smoking affects began in USA in 1950′s. People noticed that smokers are dying a lot sooner from at the time yet unknown disease. But it′s already been known that tobacco contains tar. For that, the scientists began with experiments and injected dissolved tar under the mousses skin on regular bases. After a regular applying of tar they discovered that mouses developed certain deformation or tumors under the skin. So they determined that smoking is truly harmful.

Most countries of the world have stages od education . Now we are going to talk about the the education system in the UAE . There are four stages . The first stage is called pre-school . In this stage children learn to play with other and learn how to read and write . The secound is called primary school . It starts at five or six . It ends at eleven . Children take a test at the end of primary school .The third stage is called preparatory or middle school . It ends at fifteen . Students take test . The fourth stage is called secoundry school . It starts at sixteen . It ends at eighteen . Some students leave school at the end of this stage . Some of them . Join to the college or university

Success can really be defined in many ways. Whatever personal meaning you have for success, what is important is that you do your best to achieve your goals, you abide by the rules of life and you use your skills to the fullest.
* Success is being a Company’s Executive.
Some people define success as getting to the top of the career ladder. They aim to be one of the company’s executives who can make critical decisions for the company and their employees.
There are people who work hard to achieve this goal. They associate being the top executive as having the authority and the respect of their subordinates. They feel that they have achieved enough if their skills were recognized and they were promoted to the highest positions in the company
* Success is getting your Dream Job.
There are people whose goals are to get their dream job. Due to the difficulty in finding a job these days, people settle to work in a job that they don’t even like. Some even decide to get a job that is not even related to their field of study or their interests.
After spending time in that job, or being able to provide for the family or send the kids to school, these people try to find opportunities in their chosen field. Many times, these people do not even consider how much they will be paid, or if they will be rejected since they will be neophytes in their chosen field.
They feel that their ultimate goal is being able to do what they love to do. However, only few people discover what they love to do early in life. Lucky are those young people who started working in the path to their dream job. There are also people who spend so much time in one career only to discover later on that they wanted to do something else.
* Success is being able to Share
Idealists can define achieving success when they have the knowledge and the wisdom that they can share to their colleagues and the rest of the world. Volunteers describe success as being able to share what they have without thinking what they can get in return.
*Some ways to be success:
Plan, plan, plan Good planning and knowing where you’re going is 80 percent of your project’s success, while the other 20 percent is the actual work, Eriksson says. The planning phase should include a project map with a list of all team members, individual responsibilities, their contact information, and whom they report to and when.

Create the team you need Start small, say, with two or three team members and grow from there. Recruit diverse people with different abilities. Create an environment that encourages teamwork

Manage yourself. Plan your time and keep yourself healthy by eating well and taking plenty of exercise.

Truth. Be honest with yourself. Did you really spent two hours doing your homework or did you spend an hour and a half talking to your friend on the phone and half an hour on your homework ?
Vision “an idea about what the future could be like “.You must be able to clearly see what you want. Your vision must be clear and detailed.
Finally You should work hard to make balance in our society. Being a successful project manager doesn’t happen overnight, Eriksson says. "But almost every job-related experience can add to your mastery and excellence in project management,"

According to Quran, in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar
Ramadan is celebrated. Ramadan holiday, which starts at the end of Ramadan, is also known as “candy holiday.” The main reason why Ramadan Holiday is called “candy holiday” is children receive candies from elder people.
Ramadan is thirty days long. For thirty days, adults do not eat and drink from sunrise to sunset, when they are fastening. The meal before the sunrise is called sahur and the meal after the sunset is called iftar. During the fastening period, people who are fastening, continue to pursue their routine life. Many scientists believe that fastening is a very good discipline and good step for a healthy life style.
At the end of the thirty days of fastening period, when Ramadan is over, Ramadan Holiday starts. Ramadan Holiday is similar to Christmas where family members try to get together. Children and the young members of the family visit their parents, older family members and close friends. In the true holiday tradition, the younger people kiss their elder’s hands and put their hands to their forehead to show their respect to elders. These visits are usually kept short in order to visit many other friends and distant relatives. Baklava, which is Turkish national desert, is the main desert served during these visits. Ramadan Holiday visits is one of the reasons why family and friendship ties are strong in local communities of Turkey. Children love Ramadan holiday more than many adults, because in addition to baklava they receive small amount of money, gifts and traditional Turkish candy, “lokum.”

Most parts of the world have four seasons. However, some parts of the world have only two seasons. For example, Abu Dhabi the capital of the UAE in Asia has a very hot and humid season; and a cool and a dry season. Summer is from the beginning of April to October. Winter starts in November and ends in March.

Learning Styles

You have probably noticed that when you try to learn something new that you prefer to learn by listening to someone talk to you about the information. Some people prefer to read about a concept to learn it; others need to see a demonstration of the concept. Learning Style Theory proposes that different people learn in different ways and that it is good to know what your own preferred learning style is.

Communication is usually described along three major dimensions: content, form, and destination. Examples of communication content include acts that declare knowledge and experiences, give advice and commands, and ask questions. These acts may take many forms, including gestures (nonverbal communication, sign language and body language), writing, or verbal speaking. The form depends on the symbol systems used. Together, communication content and form make messages that are sent towards a destination. The target can be oneself, another person (in interpersonal communication), or another entity (such as a corporation or group).

There are many theories of communication, and a commonly held assumption is that communication must be directed towards another person or entity. This essentially ignores intrapersonal communication (note intra-, not inter-) via diaries or self-talk.

Interpersonal conversation can occur in dyads and groups of various sizes, and the size of the group impacts the nature of the talk. Small-group communication takes place in settings of between three and 12 individuals, and differs from large group interaction in companies or communities. At the largest level, mass communication describes messages sent to huge numbers of individuals through mass media, although there is debate if this is an interpersonal conversation.

Communication theories

The wide range of theories about communication make summarization difficult. However, a basic model of communication describes communication as a five-step output-input process that entails a sender’s creation (or encoding) of a message, and the message’s transmission through a channel or medium. This message is received and then interpreted. Finally this message is responded to, which completes the process of communication. This model is based on a model of signal transmission known as the Shannon-Weaver model. A related model can be seen in the work of Roman Jakobson.

Communication mediums

The beginning of human communication through artificial channels, i.e. not vocalization or gestures, goes back to ancient cave paintings, drawn maps, and writing.

Our indebtedness to the Ancient Romans in the field of communication does not end with the Latin root "communicare". They devised what might be described as the first real mail or postal system in order to centralize control of the empire from Rome. This allowed for personal letters and for Rome to gather knowledge about events in its many widespread provinces.

In the last century, a revolution in telecommunications has greatly altered communication by providing new mediums for long distance communication. The first transatlantic two-way radio broadcast occurred on July 25, 1920 and led to common communication via analog and digital mediums:

* Analog telecommunications include traditional Telephony, radio, and TV broadcasts.
* Digital telecommunications allow for computer-mediated communication, telegraphy, and computer networks.

Communications mediums impact more than the reach of messages. They impact content and customs; for example, Thomas Edison had to discover that hello was the least ambiguous greeting by voice over a distance; previous greetings such as hail tended to be garbled in the transmission. Email has produced the Emoticon

Significantly, new communication mediums now allow for intense long-distance exchanges between larger numbers of people (many-to-many communication via e-mail, Internet forums). On the other hand, many traditional mass media favor one-to-many communication (television, cinema).

The adoption of a dominant communication medium is important enough that historians have folded civilization into "ages" according to the medium most widely used. A book titled "Five Epochs of Civilization" by William McGaughey (Thistlerose, 2000) divides history into the following stages: Ideographic writing produced the first civilization; alphabetic writing, the second; printing, the third; electronic recording and broadcasting, the fourth; and computer communication, the fifth.

While it could be argued that these "Epochs" are just a historian’s construction, digital and computer communication shows concrete evidence of changing the way humans organize. The latest trend in communication, termed smartmobbing, involves ad-hoc organization through mobile devices, allowing for effective many-to-many communication and social networking.

Talking is the direct and quick way for communication. Something that is communicated by or to or between people or groups. Between people, you have to speak out what you want to say or complain what you can’t tolerate any more. Under this communication, then others can understand it easily. If you do no choose to say it and keep it as a secret, then you can’t expect others to know you. It is mission impossible to everyone. No matter what methods you take as talking, writing, and even use your body language, all you have to do is express it out.

Communication barriers

The following factors can impede human communication:

Not understanding the language
Verbal and non-verbal messages are in a different language. This includes not understanding the jargon or idioms used by another sub-culture or group.
Not understanding the context
Not knowing the history of the occasion, relationship, or culture.
Obfuscation
Intentionally scrambling the messages.
Distraction
Not giving adequate attention to processing the message in real-time, perhaps because of multitasking.
Lack of backchannel cues in asynchronous communication
The inability to give immediate feedback such as a question ("what?") or acknowledgement ("I see") may lead to larger misunderstandings.
Lack of time
There is not enough time to communicate with everyone.
Physics
Physical barriers to the transmission of messages, such as background noise, facing the wrong way, talking too softly, and physical distance.
Medical issues
Hearing loss and various brain conditions can hamper communication.
Beliefs
World-views may discourage one person from listening to another.
Emotions
Fear and anxiety associated with communication is known by some Psychologists as communication apprehension. Besides apprehension, communication can be impaired via processes such as bypassing, indiscrimination, and polarization.
